Working together in the community with the Texas Organ Sharing Alliance staff members are the numerous volunteers representing donor families and transplant recipients willing to share their special story.

Our comprehensive public education campaign provides our South and Central Texas communities with the facts about donation and transplantation, while clearing up any misconceptions or myths that may exist. Without the encouragement and support of congregations, public and private companies, clubs and organizations, as well as media who provide the forums it would not be possible to reach out to the general public who may be a potential donor.

While the Texas Organ Sharing Alliance staff and volunteers continue their efforts in raising awareness and acceptance of the critical need for organ and tissue donation and transplantation, we are encouraged by the many successful life-changing transplantations taking place in our communities.
