Creating a Donation Friendly America Program

The Workplace Partnership for Life program, introduced nationally by the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), provides a unique opportunity to educate your employees or members about a growing health crisis: the severe shortage of organs and tissue available for transplantation. For a complete list of the more than 12,000 companies who have joined the national Workplace Partnership for Life program, please log onto www.organdonor.gov.

The solution to this crisis is one in which everyone can play a role, by learning more about the dramatic difference one individual can make in saving and enhancing lives through organ and tissue donation.

More than 110,000 Americans are currently on the waiting list for a life-saving organ transplant, and 18 of those individuals die each day for lack of an available organ. With very little effort, your organization could potentially make a tremendous difference in the lives of those in need.

To assist our Workplace Partners with their campaign, Texas Organ Sharing Alliance offers a variety of printed materials such as posters and calendars, pre-written donation-awareness articles, educational displays and speakers at no cost.
